FAQ’s
Explore our FAQs to learn more about how H2OtoGO dispensers work, what makes our water so clean, where to find us, and how to get started.
Each H2OtoGO dispenser connects directly to the local municipal water supply.
That water already meets public drinking water standards. Inside the dispenser, it then goes through H2OtoGO’s multi-stage purification system before being dispensed into your container. This on-site purification helps ensure the water is clean, fresh, and consistently high quality.
PurePath5™ is H2OtoGO’s five-stage purification process built directly into every dispenser. The system treats the water on-site just before it is dispensed, helping ensure consistent quality and taste.
Stage 1 – Micron Sediment Filtration
Removes larger particles such as rust, sand, and calcium deposits.
Stage 2 – Primary Carbon Filtration
Captures chlorine and other compounds that affect taste and odor.
Stage 3 – Reverse Osmosis Purification
Water is pushed through a high-efficiency membrane that removes the majority of dissolved contaminants including heavy metals, nitrates, PFAS, and more.
Stage 4 – Secondary Advanced Carbon Filtration
Polishes the water by targeting remaining trace compounds that may affect taste or odor.
Stage 5 – UV Sanitizing Barrier
Ultraviolet light sterilizes any remaining microorganisms before the water is dispensed.
Reverse osmosis (RO) is a purification process that forces water through an extremely fine membrane to remove dissolved contaminants.
This process removes many substances that can affect water quality, including minerals, heavy metals, and other impurities. Reverse osmosis is widely used in advanced drinking water systems.
Yes.
All H2OtoGO dispensers are constantly monitored and routinely tested by an independent, state-certified laboratory to ensure the water meets or exceeds established drinking water safety standards. This independent verification confirms that our advanced purification system is operating exactly as designed and that every gallon dispensed is clean, safe, and refreshing.
Each dispenser’s water is tested for key quality indicators, including lead and any other potential contaminants. These regular tests provide an additional layer of assurance that the water you fill from an H2OtoGO machine is not only safe to drink, but also consistently pure and great-tasting.
At H2OtoGO, we believe you should feel completely confident about the water you bring home for your family. Our commitment to advanced purification, routine monitoring, and independent laboratory testing helps ensure that every refill delivers the quality, safety, and taste you expect.
H2OtoGO dispensers are serviced on a regular maintenance schedule by trained technicians.
During these visits, the system’s filters, purification components, and dispensing equipment are inspected and serviced to ensure everything is operating properly. This routine maintenance helps keep the water clean, the equipment reliable, and the dispensing process safe for customers.
Regular maintenance is an important part of delivering the consistent quality people expect from H2OtoGO.
Spring water comes from underground sources and can vary widely in mineral content depending on location.
Purified water, like H2OtoGO water, goes through a controlled filtration and purification process to deliver consistent taste and quality with every refill.
Yes.
H2OtoGO purified water is safe for mixing baby formula and for pets. The purification process removes chlorine and many other substances commonly found in untreated tap water.
Most reusable containers can be used at H2OtoGO dispensers, including standard refillable bottles and multi-gallon containers designed for water coolers.
Reusing containers is a convenient way to save money and reduce plastic waste.
When bottles are empty, store them with the cap removed so they can air dry. Allowing the bottle to dry between uses helps keep it fresh and ready for your next refill.
To clean a bottle between uses, mix ½ tablespoon of baking soda with ½ gallon of water in the bottle.
Secure the cap, shake thoroughly, let it sit for about 15 seconds, then pour out the solution. Rinse well and allow the bottle to air dry.
For deeper sanitizing, fill the bottle with ½ gallon of water and add either:
• one drop of unscented household chlorine bleach
• or one capful of white vinegar
Secure the cap and shake the bottle. Let it sit for about 15 seconds, then pour out the solution, rinse thoroughly, and allow the bottle to air dry.
